According to Screen Rant (read the article here) Bruce Timm has stepped down as Supervising Producer of the DC Original Movies in order to work on a new Justice League cartoon set in the same Universe as "Superman: The Animated Series," "Batman: The Animated Series," "Batman Beyond," and "Justice League Unlimited."
The recent cancellations of "Young Justice" and "Green Lantern" WB needs a new show to demonstrate the power of their characters and Timm is the best at showcasing those characters. I would dare say he's even better than Christopher Nolan.
Timm was breaking down barriers with"Batman: The Animated Series," "Superman: The Animated Series," and "Justice League Unlimited" before Nolan came on the scene.
As a fan, if this rumor is true then this could be great. Bruce Timm is a master at storytelling and animation. I can't wait to see what happens.

Angela Bassett plays the chief of the Secret Service in "Olympus Has Fallen" and just days after the film was released, President Obama has named Julia Pierson as the first female chief of the Secret Service.
Angela Bassett said of the history making announcement and the life imitates art situation,
“I think it’s just
amazing. We made this movie over a year ago. We just thought we were getting
some things right.”
In another life imaitates art situation PROFOOTBALL TALK(read the article here) reports that there is a football player who is considering coming out as a gay player. On the TV show, "Neccessary Roughness" a football player comes out in their season finale.
It's amazing when real-life situations and media portrayals coincide. It makes me proud that I am a person that loves and wants to work in television and media.

Veronica Mars is Back!!! The LA TIMES reports that the KickStarter campaign started by Rob Thomas and Kristen Bell raised over 3 million dollars with 47 thousand fans pledging money to fund the Veronica Mars movie. Warner Bros. has agreed to market and distribute the film.
It reached 1 million dollars in a few hours setting a new record for Kickstarter and becoming the talk of social media.
This shows the power of devoted fans who love great TV. It could be the new start of how TV shows and films get made. There is already talk of a Kickstarter campaign for shows like Pushing Daisies and Chuck.
The power of Fandom. It amazes me.

TVLine reports that this past Monday's episode of Dallas attracted 3.6 million viewers. That is the largest audience for this season.
This episode was the farewell episode to Larry Hagman's, J.R. Ewing character. It was a very emotional and poignant tribute to J.R. Ewing and to Hagman himself who died in November(click here to read a synopsis of the episode from TVLine).
Now the question remains if the show can continue this momentum as we find out who killed J.R. Ewing.
I know that I'll be tuning in to find out.

William Moody aka Paul Bearer passed away Tuesday. He was 58 years old. Anyone who was a fan of wrestling knows who Paul Bearer is and that he was one of wrestling's most enduring personalities. He was the manager of the Undertaker (Mark Calaway) and was a very important reason of why that character was so successful in the early 1990's.
He came to prominence in 1984 as Percy Pringle. He managed future stars like Ravishing Rick Rude, Steve Austin, and Mark Calaway (before he was The Undertaker) in World Class Championship Wrestling and the United States Wrestling Assosciation.
In 1991 he came to WWE as Paul Bearer. From 1990-2002 he managed The Undertaker on a regular basis in his many feuds against the likes of Kamala, Yokozuna, Diesel, Kane, and so many others. He made a special appearance at Wrestlemania 20 when The Undertaker fought Kane.
In the last few years he has made appearances in TNA and other independent promotions. He was a gentle and kind man that truly loved professional wrestling. He will be missed but never forgotten.

As Dallas ended last night Larry Hagman's JR Ewing was seen on the phone talking to his son John Ross(Josh Henderson). Soon we heard footsteps and 3 gunshots over the cell phone of John Ross.
This will allow Larry Hagman who taped a few episodes of Dallas before his death last year to exit the series gracefully but with also a murder mystery.
The question is: Will America tune in? Ratings have dipped in recent weeks. Although it seems the quality of the show is still good.
Next week marks the funeral of JR Ewing when everyone from Dallas says goodbye and past stars return. From the preview, it looks like people will put their rivalries aside for the funeral. Except for Cliff Barnes who returns to pay his "disrespect and good riddance" which leads to a fight.
JR Ewing and Larry Hagman would be proud.
