STING DEBUTS AT SURVIVOR SERIES

STING AND TRIPLE H FACE OFF AT SURVIVOR SERIES

CagesideSeats reports (read the article here) that last night Sting debuted at Survivor Series helping John Cena and his team defeat the Authority. The Stinger laid out Triple H and helped Dolph Ziggler defeat Seth Rollins making Ziggler the sole survivor of Team Cena and the match itself.

Now that Sting has made his official debut, the question remains whether WWE will use him as an active wrestler or a part-time attraction similar to the Undertaker's schedule the last few years.

WWE may also be setting up an opponent for Sting as The Big Show turned on Team Cena and knocked out John Cena leading to his elimination and Big Show joining the Authority. Big Show and Sting have a history going all the way back to WCW. It could be a match built for WrestleMania.

THE BIG SHOW

Sting is now in WWE. I'm happy and sad at the same time. I'm happy for Sting who'll end his career somewhere where he can receive all the accolades he deserves for making the sport what it is today. I'm sad because in my heart Sting was WCW and it feels weird seeing him in WWE.

As a fan I wish him well and can't wait to see what he does in WWE.

R.I.P. GLEN A. LARSON

Glen A. Larson, creator of such classic TV shows like Magnum P.I., Knight Rider, The Six Million Dollar Man, and Quincy M.E. has died. He was 77 years old.

I write this blog post as a fan and aspiring writer who grew up on the aforementioned shows not knowing as a 6 year old watching those shows that he would influence what I wanted to do as an adult.

Thank you Mr. Larson. Your shows inspired and entertained me. I hope that one day I can do that for someone else.

CM PUNK AND MARVEL TEAM UP ON THOR

CM PUNK

CM PUNK is not only the best in the world but he can also add another credential to his resume: MARVEL writer. COMIC BOOK REOURCES (read the article here) reports that Punk will write a story for Thor: Annual #1. According to Punk in an interview with Marvel's website (read the interview here) the story will revolve around Thor as a teenager who is frustrated because his father won't give him Mjolnir, the hammer.

This is CM Punk's first time writing a comic so Marvel has sent him some scripts to get him familiar with the "Marvel method" of writing a script.

THOR

Since Punk left WWE shortly before WrestleMania 30, he has kept a low profile. He did marry current WWE Diva, A.J. Lee and has been appearing at baseball games in Chicago.

THOR: Annual #1 should come out in 2015 and I wish Punk good luck with his story. I'm sure he'll do well.

RUMOR: MARK WAHLBERG TO STAR IN A FILM BASED ON THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN

NEWSARAMA (read the article here) is reporting that Mark Wahlberg and Peter Berg who collaborated with him on, LAST SURVIVOR are going to make a movie out of the TV show "The Six Million Dollar Man".

The Six Million Dollar Man was a show that centered around astronaut and test pilot Steve Austin who tests an experimental plane that crashes due to mechanical failure leaving Austin a "man barely alive." Oscar Goldman, the head of OSI (Office of Scientific Intelligence) decides that Steve is the perfect man for his special project to make a cyborg. Wahlberg would play Steve Austin.

Steve Austin is given cybernetic legs, a cybernetic right arm, and cybernetic left eye. He becomes an agent of OSI taking down criminals and special agents.

Lee Majors and Richard Anderson starred in the TV show that ran in the 1970's.

If Wahlberg does this then it could be his own superhero franchise much like Iron Man is Robert Downey Jr.'s.

THE NEW SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN??

Also instead of being called "The Six Million Dollar Man" was a lot of money in the 70's the movie would be called "The Six Billion Dollar Man".
