BILLY CRYSTAL RETURNS TO TV

Billy Crystal

Billy Crystal will return to TV in a comedy for FX called, "The Comedians" according to the New York Times (read the article here). The comedy will star Crystal as a veteran comedian who is paired up in a late-night sketch comedy with an over the top, edgy, young comedian played by Josh Gad.

This will be Crystal's big return to TV since he was a cast member on SNL from 1984-1985. He was also on a comedy called "Soap" in the late 1970's.

THE YES MOVEMENT "OCCUPYS" RAW

Daniel Bryan aka Bryan Danielson

Last night on WWE RAW Daniel Bryan and several "fans" "hi-jacked" the show and refused to leave the ringside area until Triple H accepted Bryan's challenge for WrestleMania. Triple H and Stephanie came out and tried to threaten Bryan and the "fans" that they would be removed by police and security. In the end, Triple H agreed to fight Bryan at WrestleMania 30. Bryan added the stipulation that if he wins then he gets added to the main event and it becomes a triple threat match for the WWE World Championship.

Ever since Batista came back in January and won the Royal Rumble, fans have been adamant that Bryan be added to the main event at WrestleMania. WWE didn't want to listen but after the walk out of CM Punk and fans plotting to "hi-jack" the show with chants for Punk and Bryan, WWE gave in.

Bryan will most likely beat Triple H and win the triple threat match at WrestleMania 30 becoming the new World Champion. The next question will be: How long will WWE let him hold the championship? A day?, A week?,  A month? Who knows?

The fans and CM Punk's walkout have put Daniel Bryan in the main event title picture. The big question is: How long will WWE let him stay there?

CM PUNK APPEARING ON "TALKING DEAD" ON MARCH 16TH

According to ProWrestling.net (read the article here) CM PUNK will appear on the Talking Dead show on March 16th at 11pm on AMC. Punk is being advertised under his real name of Phil Brooks so to avoid any legal issues with WWE.

I doubt that there will be any talk of Punk's standing in WWE but it sure will be nice to see Punk on television again.

A part of me hopes that Punk will return to wrestling in some capacity either as a commentator or manager if he chooses to no longer wrestle. He could even write his own column on a website like WRESTLEZONE. Punk also has friends in the comic book community and that could be another avenue that he lends his creativity.

I guess all we can do is wait and see.
